I drink a lot of smoky, dark roast coffee and write caffeine-fueled stories about friendship, romance, humor, a touch of magic, family drama, and changed lives. And usually a four-legged or winged companion, too. I’m also the voice behind an ever-expanding library of 200-plus audiobooks.

My Tomato Man and I live at the end of the lane on top of a hill in a century-old slightly crooked house. We share our lives with a clingy canine, Betsy, and a capricious cat, Mori, and we grow a riotous, rambling garden inside a crooked fence. Most of the things we grow are edible… but some are most definitely not, thanks to my morbid fascination with poisonous plants. We have three adult children living wild adventures of their own, but who also show up on demand with scrumptious grandbabies for us to nibble on.
